One of the few rest stops outside of the cities on the entire Lieserweg. Be sure to use it and stagger across the suspension bridge!

Large, spacious and unusually built with great views

The idyllically situated Pleiner Mühle lies on the Lieser path and on several other circular and hiking trails. A stop here is definitely worthwhile, be it to refresh yourself with cool drinks or to strengthen yourself with delicious food or great cakes. Since June 2022, the Pleiner Mühle can be reached again via a great new suspension bridge, after the devastating flood of the century in 2021 had completely destroyed the old bridge. The interim solution with the "ferry" was imaginative, but not a permanent solution. The food is very good and plentiful, the service staff is very friendly.
