The Marienhütte is a shelter to stay

The Marienhütte invites you to linger on the Kleine Kyll mindfulness path. Because you should enjoy this path at leisure and not rush through it. Today, on a warm, summery October 13th, I even discovered three ladybirds in the Lady's Hut - if I had walked past, I would have missed it. So: stay careful and enjoy the journey!

The Heidsmühle is idyllically located in the forest, without noisy through traffic at the end of the access road. It was badly damaged in the flood of the century in 2021. The damage has now been largely repaired and nothing stands in the way of a stop or even an overnight stay in this idyll. Both the Eifelsteig and the Lieserpfad lead along the Heidsmühle and invite you to take a break and have a good time. Further information on the homepage at: https://www.heidsmuehle.de/

A "luxury cabin": Large, spacious and unusually built with great views

I can't take as many breaks as there are beautiful huts and viewing benches here - there's not enough room in my backpack for that amount of bread, snacks and water.
