The waterfall is located in the Tiefenbach valley, above the old town of Bernkastel. A very beautiful hiking trail leads to this truly spectacular waterfall!

This beautiful forest path leads you almost imperceptibly from the pretty parish church up through the stream valley. Hopefully, you won't experience the same fate as the hurdy-gurdy man from Ahringsbach, who had to flee to a tree to escape a bear.

Unfortunately, the bench was already full on our walk through the Hölzbach Gorge. This is a great place for a rest!

💙It's wonderful to walk along the rushing stream🌊 A great photo location at the waterfall 📸🎨🖌🌊💙, wonderfully fresh - which is so good, especially in the warmer season ☀️🌡🤗. 👌🏼Absolutely recommended 👍🏻

The waterfall is great. And the area is completely different from the other side of the Moselle!

A path leads very close to the beautiful waterfall. You can also get to the water and very close to the waterfall. A decent amount of water in rainy May 2024
