The Tiefenbach, which has its source between Longkamp and Gonzerath, meanders through a narrow valley to Bernkastel and flows into the Moselle there. Even though it is only a small stream, it forms an impressive waterfall that roars beautifully, especially after heavy rainfall. Directly above the waterfall, the Tinkel Chapel, which is well worth seeing, stands on a rock.

Beautiful waterfall in a crevice, the rugged profile of which can be interpreted as a chicken's head and is therefore called "det Hinkel", which gave the chapel above it the name Tinkel Chapel.

Very nice little waterfall. At the end of December it had quite a lot of water. You can walk there quickly from Bernkastel-Kues. About 800 meters from the village is below Landshut Castle, in the immediate vicinity of the Drinker Chapel. There are no parking spaces there
