The tunnel was built to drain the mine and was driven approximately 200 meters into the mountain. It is said to be still accessible along its entire length. You can shine a flashlight into it for a few meters. The approach is adventurous.

Unbelievable what is hidden here! Hardly known, still seems very untouched. Hardly any rubbish, little trampled on. A former geocaching hideout in the corner. In winter there is even a small waterfall running over it.

Cold War relic. Protection for the A9 and/or inclined plane. Here was an ammunition dump for the destruction of infrastructure in case of an attack from the Warsaw Pact. The route of the A9 ran through Frankenfarm/Autobahnkirche and through Lanzendorf!
