This climbing rock is of course not called "Geteiltes Glück". It is a secondary rock of the Eherbacher Wand in the Eherbachtal near Zedersitz. The Eherbachtal is a rather quiet, less known side valley of the Kaiserbachtal. While the neighboring Kaiserbachtal often attracts hikers, the Eherbachtal is considered a insider tip for nature lovers and sport climbers. It is a typical dry valley of the Franconian Switzerland with striking limestone rocks rising from the wooded slopes. Since there is no through road for cars through the entire valley, it is particularly peaceful there.

The four vaulted cellars were formerly used for storing beer and crops. The cellars extend deep into the ground; some even have several passageways.

The Temple of Aeolus stood on the rock dedicated to the wind god Aeolus, accessible only via two rock bridges. The temple collapsed during a severe thunderstorm in 1830. The stairs leading up to the top are dilapidated and are now closed.

A mighty rock arch forms the auditorium of the Ruin Theater, built in 1747. The orchestra pit, the backdrop arches, and the back wall are made of rubble stone. The 86-seat mini-theater is used by the Bayreuth Studio Stage for performances in July and August. The ambiance of this small Rococo theater transports the audience to the world of the 18th century.

The names of individual rock formations, such as the Mentorsgrotte, still point to Sanspareil’s literary program.

The first inhabitants of the Güldenstein estate were probably forestry assistants or woodcutters. Bird trapping was also a lucrative sideline. The Güldenstein bird herd was located above the hillside on a flat area. Only the owners of the estate had the right to trap all types of finches, larks, tits, blackbirds, and thrushes. Selling them was not a problem, as the songbirds were considered a delicacy in the city. Bird trapping was not banned until the end of the 19th century. However, the most important means of survival in this remote area was always agriculture. In 1930, Güldenstein was abandoned by its last inhabitants.
