Nice rest area right next to the cycle path

Great place for cyclists to rest. Located right on the bike path with great seating. Unfortunately, it was already closed in October.

Food and drink very good - always worth a stop. Everything from South Tyrolean specialties to roast pork. Sausage salad also tastes absolutely delicious.

The information board set up at the forest hut in the state forest in 2019 shows the historical development of the wasteland of Enkenried using excerpts from the Ingenrieder Höfechronik. In order to illustrate the outstanding role of water for the yard, a hand pump was also installed, which is fed via a newly laid water pipe from the still intact spring of the old farm.

At the moment the moss hut is closed, but the landlords have set up a drink table and everyone who takes something feeds the little piggy bank 🐖
