Unfortunately it was closed on Monday (like so many others) but we were able to exchange a few words with the friendly owner. She was very nice and looks forward to welcoming guests again. We will be back

Refuge on the Booser Doppelmaar circular route, but already shortly after the start of the hiking car park, so I only paid the refuge a short visit.

Beautiful small gazebo right on the creek. Not only a good stop for a snacks, but also a cute little waterfalls a few metters on uper trail from it.

Nice place to stop for a break halfway between Maria Martental and Cochem. If you are interested in the history of the mill and the Göbel family, or would like to know why the mill was almost destroyed in the winter of 1955, you can find out more here http://goebels-muehle.de/ueber-uns/.
