The circular route through the tall, partly beech forest has a relaxing effect. The three forest islands with a bench, hammock and lounger make a significant contribution to this. But you should take your time and not "rush"!

Shelter and a great view awaits us on the Falkenlay, a carved falcon greets us, and there is also information

Very nice old stone shelter. In front of the refuge there is a bench that is well suited for a short breather or a picnic. A little below there is a very nice viewing platform.

Beautiful, stone refuge that invites you to linger. In addition, from up here you have a wonderful view over the ridges of the Vulkaneifel.

Unfortunately it was closed on Monday (like so many others) but we were able to exchange a few words with the friendly owner. She was very nice and looks forward to welcoming guests again. We will be back
