The Sangweiher is an old maar lake and, thanks to extensive restoration measures, has become a lovely stop on your hike. This nature and bird sanctuary offers a habitat for flora and fauna, where you are welcome to be a guest.

The circular route through the tall, partly beech forest has a relaxing effect. The three forest islands with a bench, hammock and lounger make a significant contribution to this. But you should take your time and not "rush"!

Interesting to learn more about this nature reserve. Taking a look at the Sangweiher from the nearby birdwatching hut is definitely worth it. Here you will find a hiking trail, a cycle path and a Nordic walking route.
