Trail descent to Eltz Castle

When the hiker reaches this farm on the Moselsteig path towards the mouth of Koblenz on the stage from Treis-Karden to Moselkern, Eltz Castle is not yet in sight, but a large part of this high point of the tour has been made. Now it goes downhill along forest paths, at first leisurely, later steeper. When the flow of tourists increases, Burg Eltz gets closer :-)

A little above the bridge mill there is a wonderful little rest area at the "Hauerhütte" with a view over the wooded valley.

Very nice little booth to sit down, look out and possibly drink wine.

A lovingly furnished hut that invites you to linger. If everyone left a place as they would like to find it, there would surely be many more of those places

A really nice idea
