Certainly a highlight in the Leipzig Zoo. Here in the tropical rainforest it is, who is surprised, tropical warm. We didn't take that into account on our first visit. Due to the outside temperature, we wore long-sleeved shirts and a jacket. That was a mistake because I sweated through it afterwards. On the second visit, an onion look and a visit in a t-shirt. Afterwards I put my clothes on again.

A beautiful snack bar in the midst of the heath forest between Noitzsch and Wellaune. Ideal for a break. To the north is Wellaune, west of the Red House and south of Noitzsch. On bike tours in this beautiful NSG a good way to catch your breath.

When driving on the 183a you can see it between Wellaune and Reibitz halfway - the Forsthütte. It looks so fantastic that you can feel like making it homely and moving in! Just cool built the part. To cycle to Badrina you drive here in a southerly direction into the Heidewald, which you leave after about 2 km on dirt roads. On the way you can still meet the insect hotel.
