At this point you are in the center of the Dahlener Heide and six different paths converge here. It used to be an important meeting point for hunters and lumberjacks - and because a huge oak tree once stood here, people always met "at the hunters' oak."

The Seelitz wild boar gate was created for hunting dog training. Likewise the wedge bush hut. Here is a practical training for hunting dogs with wild boar that are not trained. They only live in the gate for a certain amount of time and are replaced by new wild boar after a certain amount of time.
