A beautiful bathing spot with a view of the lagoon.

Please do not use this observation platform during the resting periods in spring and autumn to give the cranes more peace and space. Instead, you can use the nearby observation points of the Kranorama.

Here you can also watch the water sports enthusiasts when the weather is nice. Or just enjoy the view.

This is the only spot in the bay where I've seen surfers and kiters.

In the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park there are two large Bodden areas. The Fischland-Darß-Zingster Bodden chain is separated from the Baltic Sea by the peninsula. The large water areas of the Bodden are important sleeping and resting places for geese. At this covered rest area you can relax yourself and use one of the few bathing spots on the Bodden for swimming or watching geese.

You get on the stag and have a great view over the water from there. Top recommendation
