바이드만스펠트‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪7‬개의 동굴

엠머베르크 성터는 빈첸도르프-무트만스도르프 시장 마을에 있는 고중세 시대의 언덕 위 성터로, 1170년경 처음 문서에 언급되었으며 한때 카란타니아 변경백령의 북쪽 경계에서 프로세트 협곡을 감시하는 중요한 요새 역할을 했습니다. 600년 이상 사용된 후 성은 18세기 말에 버려졌고, 이후 건물세를 절약하기 위해 지붕을 덮고 돌을 약탈하면서 폐허로 쇠퇴하기 시작했습니다. 오늘날 붕괴 위기에 처한 이 시설은 개인 소유이며 안전상의 이유로 출입이 금지되어 있습니다.

그 자체로 매우 흥미로운 폐허이며, 성문 탑에는 아직도 온전한 원형 예배당과 온전한 연기 주방이 있습니다. 안타깝게도 이 폐허는 얼마 전부터 폐쇄되어 추가적인 부식에 노출되었습니다.

Starhemberg라는 이름은 원래 이름인 'starker Berg'(강한 산) 또는 'Starkenberg'에서 유래했습니다. 이 성은 오스트리아 상부(Oberösterreich)에 있는 같은 이름의 성인 슈로스 스타르헨베르크(Haag am Hausruck)와, 슈타르헨베르크 가문의 이름이 유래된 곳이며 현재의 거주지인 슈로스 스타르헨베르크(Eferding)와 혼동해서는 안 됩니다. 여기서 다루는 성의 폐허는 유명한 사도 가문과는 아무런 관련이 없었습니다.

1278년 마르히펠트 전투 이후 이 성은 합스부르크 가문의 소유가 되었습니다. 1482년 헝가리 왕 마티아스 코르비누스가 이 성을 정복했습니다. 1683년 이 성은 주변 주민들에게 투르크인으로부터 보호를 제공했습니다.

After centuries of decay, the ruins were painstakingly restored thanks to the dedication of Dr. Karl Leitner and today shine in their historic splendor. On the grounds, you'll find remnants of walls, towers with viewing platforms, and insights into the lives of former lords. The Emmerberg Castle ruins are located on a ridge near the Prosset Gorge and are among the historic fortresses of Lower Austria. First mentioned around 1170, they served as an important defensive point on what was then the northern border of the Carantanian March. Although they were never militarily tested, they were inhabited until 1760 before they began to decay – triggered by the sale of the roof structure. Although the ruins are now inaccessible for safety reasons, their imposing remains and picturesque location make them a fascinating sight.
