The cabin is located at the crossroads of paths leading towards Gut Füchtel, Lutten, and Diepholzer Moor. It's ideal for taking a break and planning your route. There's little traffic and the surrounding road is well-maintained.

A very nice place to take a break—even for a (cycling) group. There were even cushions available!

One of the few covered rest areas can be noted on the tour sheet.

This is where the Strothbäke springs. To the left and right of the spring pond there are stone walls that give this place an almost mystical feel. A small footbridge leads over the still small stream to the other side. Here, framed in the largest of the stone walls, there is a memorial plaque with the inscription "Liesken Roewell'n 1988".
