Located at the top of the mountain, the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Socorro, originally a mosque, was converted into a Catholic temple by D. Afonso Henriques and rebuilt during the reign of D. Manuel I. It offers panoramic views and displays Manueline stones inside.
