The entire underpass is structurally abysmal. Alternative route via: Kaltenweide - Höselweg, Recommended even during non-flooding periods.

I passed by here ten months ago on my "Kollmar" tour. I had something to eat at the pier.

A great snack bar right on the bike path. Very friendly staff, and we got our coffee even though it wasn't open yet. Highly recommended. Nearby is a lovely children's playground and the Elbe River with a great stretch of beach.

That's the opposite of a highlight Immediately after the descent and a bend there was a huge puddle on 11/24/24, so I had to find a new route. The first attempt failed because a huge gate blocked the road.
