마조레 호수 피에몬테 쪽의 멋진 작은 마을입니다.

독특한 이름 "Panperduto"는 주로 지역 방언과 댐 건설 이전 강 항해와 관련된 옛 이야기에서 유래했습니다. 과거에는 상품이나 돌을 운반하던 상업용 바지선이 이 강 구간의 급류와 바위가 많은 강바닥과 자주 충돌하여 전복되고 모든 짐을 잃곤 했습니다. 이는 하루 치 노동과 식량을 살 데 필요한 수입 전체를 잃는 것을 의미했으며, 여기서 "우리는 빵을 잃었다" (Panperduto에서 유래)라는 말이 나왔습니다.

Panperduto 댐(또는 더 정확히는 Panperduto 댐들)은 롬바르디아에서 가장 중요하고 매혹적인 수력 교차로 중 하나로, 바레세 현의 Somma Lombardo 시에 있는 티치노 강에 위치해 있습니다. 이 기념비적인 수력 공학 단지는 19세기 말(1884년 완공)에 지어졌으며, 주로 티치노 강의 물을 돌려 두 개의 기본적인 인공 수로에 공급하는 역할을 합니다. Villoresi 수로: 관개 목적으로 사용되며, 포 평원의 10만 헥타르 이상의 농지에 물을 공급합니다. 산업용 수로: 이 지역의 여러 발전소를 통해 수력 발전을 생산하는 데 필수적입니다.

Piazza Motta, Orta San Giulio Among the points not to be missed is Piazza Motta, the beating heart of the village, rich in history and vitality. In the centre of the square stands the Broletto, also known as the Palazzotto. Once it was the place where the representatives of the villages of the entire Riviera met to make the most important decisions. The building dates back to the sixteenth century. On the external walls you can see the coats of arms of the bishops who ruled the Riviera, three sundials and the symbol of Orta San Giulio: the coat of arms with the Hortus Conclusus.
