This trailhead marks the start of a short but rewarding ascent to a unique natural spring. At this point there is a coastal fort overlooking the sea.

Great view. In winter everything seems a little more fascinating. It's January and around 11 a.m. Still, everything is pretty dark. The next few kilometers are through calf-deep snow and it's very tiring - at least for me. My hiking partner sees it differently.

Here the river Bognelv emerges under pressure from an underground spring. Even if you have already seen other spring pots, this one stands out because of the force with which it pushes out of the rock.

the path is complex and takes a little longer, the bridge at the destination is available again (8/22)

Wonderful view of glacier and fjord

Hike on a narrow path with several stream crossings, partly over stepping stones or wooden planks.

The narrow and very uneven path led us about 2 kilometers through a wonderful and changing landscape to a plateau, which allowed a wonderful view of the Øksfjordjøkelen glacier, which was several kilometers away. The ice field below is fed by avalanche snow.
