When the Pastorenteiche ponds open up before you and the Wesel Heath beyond, it's always a beautiful sight. No wonder Pastor Wilhelm Bode liked to linger here. Especially since the Pastorenteiche ponds are located directly on the Kerkstieg.

The Undeloh village pond (Hungerteich) used to be a natural phenomenon. Legend has it that something was not right in Undeloh. Undeloh means spring in the oak grove. The spring had healing properties. A fairy restored a girl's sight there. There is a display at the pond that looks like a book that describes the story.
