Not really a parking space, but plenty of room to park your car. Provided your car has four-wheel drive and plenty of ground clearance.

From this dirt road on the edge of the forest, you have a wonderful view over the fields to the southeast. Every now and then, huge oak trees are scattered in the silhouette.

The Predigerau runs between the field path and the Bokhorst. Here it has a lively, winding course. A bridge that is increasingly crumbling marks an old crossing into the forest. Strange: At this landmark, a 5 m high cross stands crookedly in the forest.

Here, where the Dröge Eider lives up to its name and the riverbed appears to be dry, there is a red brick ruin. In 10.2023 there is a Santa Claus hat inside.

A little further in the Friedenstal burial forest is this fully shady 🅿️

The Heickenteich is, along with the two Klasterteichen in the Ovendorfer Redder, one of the source locations of the Eider.

Free 🅿️ Shady until the afternoon. It's worth taking a detour to the Peace Monument, 200m north.
