A very well-maintained castle, a real eye-catcher. Tours are possible.

The castle ruins are actually right on the main road, so you walk right past them. Whether it's worth it, I can't say for everyone, but it's definitely worth a look. The surrounding grounds are well-kept and tidy.

The origins of Spremberg Castle go back to a water and swamp castle from the 13th century. Remains of a square and a round tower are still preserved today. The two-storey north wing was built in the 16th century.
