Today's Neuhausen Castle was probably built towards the end of the 16th century. The castle is a two-story plastered building that was built in place of the original swamp castle. The castle was rebuilt in the middle of the 18th century and has had a mansard roof with a central lantern ever since. At the end of the 19th century and between 1996 and 2004, the castle was renovated, which is now used as an educational center. A landscape park belongs to the castle, the entire complex is a listed building.
