This section of the cycle path is located between the former Osterloh weir and the village of Bockelskamp in the Flotwedel collective municipality. It's worth taking a break in the grass not only at the "new" renaturalized weir, but also here between the river and the cycle path! ATTENTION: This section is not accessible during floods!

In the Misselhorn Heath near Hermannsburg, two large areas of heathland flow into one another: the Misselhorn Heath and the particularly impressive Tiefental valley, an ice age dry valley with a beautiful panorama.

In the past, the Osterloher Aller weir represented an insurmountable obstacle for aquatic life. This has now changed. The NLWKN has replaced the weir with a "rough channel", so the fish can now pass through it again on their way to their traditional spawning grounds. The crossing for cyclists and pedestrians is now complete and this place is also now a wonderful place for local recreation in the city of Celle.
