Europa-Park in Rust is Germany's largest theme park and one of the most popular in Europe. Spreading across approximately 95 hectares, it offers over 100 attractions and shows, including numerous roller coasters and themed areas representing various European countries. The Old Town Hall stands centrally in the old town of Lahr in the Black Forest, in the immediate vicinity of the Judgment Square. Originally, the building was erected in the late 15th century as a typical town hall with an open ground floor. A major renovation took place in 1608: The open ground floor was partially walled up, an external staircase with a late Gothic tracery balustrade was added, and a volute gable was constructed.

The Jewish cemetery in Schmieheim was the largest association cemetery in southern Baden. It was established in 1682. Today, 2,491 gravestones remain.
