Since 1997, physician, researcher, and artist Claus-Frenz Claussen, known as the "Iron Sculptor of Eisenbühl," ran the Iron Park, a freely accessible open-air exhibition of 222 iron and steel sculptures, predominantly with a mythological theme. Claussen gave form to these heavyweights, weighing up to 14 tons. The park was expanded in 2001. The Iron Park remains open even after Claussen's death in 2022.

You pass this area on the Frankenwaldsteigla Iron Park Trail. The Iron Park in Eisenbühl is a freely accessible open-air exhibition of iron and steel sculptures, often with a mythological background.
