The small sacred monument that stands out against the trees here is as simple as can be imagined. The longitudinal and transverse beams of the field cross, which is made of wood, do not bear the body of the crucified Christ or any other decoration. There is also no dedicatory inscription. In the immediate vicinity of the cross, a seating area and a wooden bench invite the passing hiker/walker to take a (perhaps spiritual) rest.

Beautiful, small plateau on which the observation tower stands. You have a very beautiful panoramic view from above. A covered seating area below invites you to take a rest. Right next door is a German army surveillance system, which can be seen from far away thanks to its striking white dome.
