Höwenegg 분화구는 슈바벤 알프의 전형적인 돌리네가 아니라 실제 화산 분화구입니다. 따라서 지질학적으로 헤가우 화산 지대에 속합니다. 현무암 채굴은 분화구의 현재 모습에 추가적인 영향을 미쳤습니다. 이곳에서는 멋진 전경을 감상할 수 있습니다.

A very good viewpoint overlooking the crater lake, with a small rest area and information panel. Even though there is a large fence around the crater rim for safety reasons, a good view is still possible.

The small, fine snack bar "nina's ess-Art" offers great burgers 🍔 and fries, as well as some delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. Regular opening hours from April to October are Mon - Sat from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hot food served continuously from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday opening hours will be decided in the near future.
