도나우 계곡의 그림 같은 곳에 자리한 가이징엔은 바르 고원과 알프스까지 시야를 열어주는 전망대로 유명합니다. 특별한 벤치를 찾고 있다면, 등산객과 현지인 모두가 똑같이 좋아하는 두 곳의 명소가 있습니다. 바로 ‘쇤에 아우스지히트’(바르텐베르크)입니다. 이곳은 고전적인 명소입니다. 가이징엔의 집산인 바르텐베르크에서는 폐허 바로 옆이나 등산로를 따라 휴식용 벤치를 찾을 수 있습니다. 평지를 선호하는 분들을 위해 도나우 강을 따라 현대적인 휴식 공간과 벤치가 있으며, 도시의 스카이라인과 바르의 완만한 언덕을 직접 바라볼 수 있습니다.

Donaueschingen의 지역인 Pfohren 근처의 도나우 강은 강이 아직 '어린 시절'에 있기 때문에 지리적, 생태학적으로 매력적인 구간입니다.

Höwenegg 분화구는 슈바벤 알프의 전형적인 돌리네가 아니라 실제 화산 분화구입니다. 따라서 지질학적으로 헤가우 화산 지대에 속합니다. 현무암 채굴은 분화구의 현재 모습에 추가적인 영향을 미쳤습니다. 이곳에서는 멋진 전경을 감상할 수 있습니다.

For generations, the Geisingen City Mill has carried on the milling tradition as a family business, processing high-quality raw materials into premium products. Nestled in the heart of nature – the Baar region in the southern Black Forest – they are known for their wide range of spelt and organic food products from their own mill. The existence of the Geisingen town mill has been documented since 1139. Built by the serfs of the Lords of Wartenberg as part of their forced labor, the mill is an important testament to regional economic and social history and today houses the Spelt and Hildegard von Bingen Museum.
