St. Nicholas Church is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. Admission is not free and costs 4 euros, but it is money well spent.

This church is located right on the market square in Stralsund. It is the oldest church in the city. I recommend going inside. There is church inventory dating back to the 13th century. For example, a stone baptismal font from 1260 or the oldest astronomical clock in the world from 1394, the mechanics of which are still in their original condition.
