It's a shame that the Malbergbahn is no longer in operation. My recommendation for anyone who wants to ride a railway with such a "water drive" is the Nerobergbahn in Wiesbaden. What remains are some interesting lost places.

If you cycle along the Lahn Cycle Path near Bad Ems toward Nassau, it's not as crowded in early April. You pass through the village of Dausenau, which is also very beautiful and historic. Currently, there are many blossoming trees.

A great viewpoint of the Lahn and the castle of Laurenburg

New, light bridges have made this section between Geilnau and Laurenburg possible. The existing paths on the left bank of the Lahn were used and slightly expanded. The route has turned out to be beautiful.
