Now Otto, the golden eagle, can be seen from afar and you don't have to look for him for long anymore. Since the trees have disappeared, you can save yourself the climb to the viewing platform. You can also see the landscape from below. I didn't say this is better now. The Ottofels, also known as Ottofelsen, is an approximately 36 m high granite rock formation near Hasserode that has been designated as a natural monument since 1964.
