Congratulations to those who made it here as hikers. The trail down and around the lake to this bridge is not recommended for cyclists. You have to be VERY creative to even recognize a path these days... What a shame!

Dabel was first mentioned in 1272. The center of the village is the church, dating from the early 15th century, a flat-roofed fieldstone hall with a tower of equal width. The parish offers a wide range of services open to everyone: a crèche, a daycare center, and an after-school care center. Christian education and confirmation classes, Scouts for children and young people, a children's choir, a brass band, a senior citizens' choir, a girls' band, carol singers, a tower musician, senior citizens' afternoons, and, above all, church services on Sundays and holidays, as well as concerts and exhibitions.
