It's interesting how many different varieties of apples, pears, and similar fruits there are. However, many trees are already retired and hardly bear fruit (anymore).

Beautifully laid out fruit tree trail with many, even lesser-known varieties. It would probably be nice to come by during the harvest season 😉

Along the wooden walkway there are many small information boards pointing out the flora and fauna that can be found here.

I found the dream loop that leads over a wooden footbridge through the Ehlesbruch more beautiful than expected. There are a few particularly nice places to sit here on the wooden pier.
