The German Wine Gate in Silent-Rechenbach is accessible all year round and offers a beautiful all-round view. It is built in the style of a Roman fort. The tower is 14m high and stands on the 504m high Treutelsberg. It is easily accessible via a spiral staircase. From above you have a good view of the Odenwald, the Black Forest and the Vosges.
