Good selection of drinks and food. We ate schnitzel (nice and crispy), liver dumplings (fine) and tarte flambée (large and well topped). Everyone liked it. Recommendable.

Three castles on three humps of a ridge above the city of Annweiler in the Palatinate: the Trifels Group. Starting point of the Three Castles hike: On the castle path from the castle Landeck above Klingenmünster first to the ruin Schlössel. Continue up to the Ringwall Heidenschuh. Then to the Martinsturm, with a good view far over the Palatinate Forest, before it goes down to the White Rock, a nice rest area. Then back to the starting point for Burg Landeck.

The Landauer Hütte am Zimmerbrunnen is a refuge hut managed by the Landau section of the Palatine Forest Association in the Palatinate Forest.
