One of the tours that I have done several times and that I led as an ADFC tour leads to the Alsterquelle. I also planned a picnic there. My guests and I ate everything at home under the patio roof because it was raining terribly.

Well, it's not the prettiest one, but it's a great resting place and a good starting point for tours.

I suggest not to go back after the first Alster bridge, but to continue on the hiking trail to the next Alster bridge, because then you get back on the original hiking trail.
