Easy to moderately difficult route, perfect for warm days as there's plenty of shade. There's also a superbly maintained outdoor pool for cooling off, as well as the absolutely charming Café Goldmarie with delicious cappuccino and cake. Highly recommended as a reward after a lap around the lake :)

From this bathing spot, you have a sweeping view of the lake's longitudinal axis. From this angle, it appears significantly longer than its actual 3 km. Tip: On the horizon, you can see the radio tower and the Kalkberg mountain.

Lake Klüthsee is located immediately northeast of Lake Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein and is significantly smaller and quieter than its more famous neighbor. It is surrounded by forests and meadows, but offers only a few direct access points to the water.

Photographer and sculptor Klaus Kammerichs created the multifaceted work "Five Columns for a Red Indian / Old World – New World" in 1992 as a contribution to the cultural program of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. Five tall reinforced concrete steles stand on a meadow by the Great Segeberg Lake – an impressive monument with a total size of 528 x 950 x 600 cm. The steles are covered with an irregular pattern, featuring notches, surfaces, and lines on top of each other at different levels.
