A visit to the waterfalls is highly recommended on a snowshoe trail in Menscheschwand. The waterfalls and the path through the small gorge are illuminated in the evenings during the winter months. A nice highlight not far from the trail.

The waterfalls are an absolute highlight. You can explore them via well-paved paths and bridges that lead up to the waterfall. In the evening they are even occasionally illuminated in summer, which is really beautiful.

During and after the Ice Age, water flooding from the Feldberg created a gorge with rock walls up to 30 m high, which visitors can walk along a path. In the period from May to October, the waterfalls can be admired with lighting every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evening. May - September 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m October 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m

Great view of the Feldberg in good weather to the Alps

The Schluchsee is the largest lake in the Black Forest and you can swim in several places.

Really nice waterfall in a small gorge. Illuminated in the evening on certain days.

From here, you have a panoramic view, including a magnificent view of the Feldberg, Belchen, and the Vosges Mountains. On a clear day, you can even spot the snow-capped peaks of Switzerland's Alps.

The following 2km from the Spießhorn to the mountain inn Krunkelbach-Hütte are my tour highlight! First it goes downhill on a steep root path. You have a magnificent view of the Feldberg. Then we feel the warmth of the sun, leave the forest, roam through the last snow fields this winter and have a great view of the Herzogenhorn. Here we already have a half-time tour and take a break for a snack.
