The town hall, built in 1607/8, had to give way to a new building with a large city theater in 1905/6. Architect Alfred Sasse provided this mighty building with a variety of historicizing elements. The court orchestra played at the inauguration under the direction of court music director Professor Richard Sahla (1855–1931). The new building took place during the term of office of Mayor Wilhelm Külz (1875–1948), who, as President of the Schaumburg-Lipp State Parliament, designed a city order that was extremely modern at the time and later emerged as a Saxon politician. Great historic town hall, the buildings nearby are also worth seeing.

All well and good, but now they're getting greedy. I was there on Whit Monday 2022. The Engel Weizen now costs 4.80 euros. That would be fine, but not with self-service and queuing.

Everything is still preserved here, really very nice! :)

In addition to the castle, the city center of Bückeburg is also highly recommended

This is only a good 100 years old, although the appearance may be deceptive and was built in the years 1905/1906 in the style of the Weser Renaissance. Today it houses - in addition to the leased Ratskeller with the large theater hall - the departments of central services and finances of the city administration.
