The pilgrimage church of the Holy Trinity is the landmark of Gößweinstein. This monumental church, whose two towers majestically greet the country, together with its pilgrimage forms the religious center of Franconian Switzerland. The Himmelsleiter is a 37m high observation tower with a great panoramic view of the forests in the Pottenstein area. Pottenstein Castle is 1.2 km away. There is no entrance fee and it is closed in winter. The tower is in the middle of the best hiking area.iter -
