Great view of Steyr!

Crossing option Upper Austria/Lower Austria. Refreshment options at Fischerwirt or Kirchenwirt Ernsthofen, Kirchenwirt Haidershofen (always check opening hours beforehand 😉). Continue towards Mostviertel or Steyr.

The ascent from Behamberg on the west side leads steeply across the meadow, then into the forest, where it becomes more comfortable. On the east side, a nice, flat singletrack trail runs through the forest, not shown on the maps. Outside the forest, the path leads into/through the meadow to a farm driveway.

St. Michael, colloquially known as the "Michaelerkirche", is located in the Steyrdorf district and is a Roman Catholic parish church. It belongs to the Steyr deanery in the Linz diocese and is a listed building. The former Jesuit church, with its elevated position at the confluence of the Steyr and Enns, dominates the cityscape of Steyr. A special feature is the gable fresco between the two towers. There is a statue of the Archangel Michael in the forecourt.

Comfortable path along the Enns, but there is no view here - even the Enns is often well hidden by the dense bushes.

Not only a great viewing point for hikers, but also easy to reach by car as there is also a parking lot here.

For me, one of the most beautiful rest stops on the Ursrpungweg. It suddenly appears in front of you when you are on the Dachsberg.
