The interior design of Neuschwanstein Castle features the recurring element of the soaring swan. This is where the best pictures at the Eibsee are made. Especially at sunrise you have the possibility of a perfect reflection in the water, the Zugspitze in the background and the Sasseninsel in the water.

Also very nice in winter. The path is prepared for a winter hike and is very easy to walk. There is plenty of seating along the lake with great views and lots of rubbish bins.

The interior of Hohenschwangau Castle is certainly not as worth seeing as in Neuschwanstein, but it is also a castle in which, so to speak, "lived".
