Attention: Tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle are only available at the Ticket Center in Hohenschwangau below the castle.

Prices 2016:

Children and adolescents under the age of 18 have free admission.

Ticket sales times in the ticket center:
April to 15 October: 8 to 17 o'clock
16th October to March: 9am to 3pm

Opening times Neuschwanstein Castle:

Neuschwanstein Castle stands above Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southern Bavaria. The castle Neuschwanstein is really beautiful! A must for every German hiker as I think.
My conclusion, however:
Without paying, there is no nice view of the castle as a whole. Unfortunately you only get small impressions of it. For example, we were there with our dog and could not go to the castle. A big disappointment for dog owners.
But if you do not have a dog and a few euros left, I can definitely recommend the trip to you!
