When staying in Bad Tölz you should definitely take the time to visit the town church "Mariä Himmelfahrt". It is worth forgetting the stress and hectic pace of life for a few contemplative minutes and looking at the beauties inside during a prayer!

Nice destination for anyone looking for a summit cross (Almkreuz) without a lot of hustle and bustle. The Alm originally belonged to the Tegernsee monastery and was first mentioned in documents in 1529. The last of the five old Alm buildings was demolished in 2018. The new building that was planned has not yet taken place. The Alm was not in use anyway. Various paths lead up from Bad Wiessee and Finsterwald, some of them are decent climbs with lots of roots. In terms of views, the nearby Hirschberg dominates. Continue to the Nesselscheibe.
