The Old Hohenbaden Castle was the first residence of the powerful Margraves of Baden-Baden. It is one of the three castles on the Black Forest heights around Baden-Baden, with which the margraviate protected itself. The ruins still impress with their enormous size.

A pleasant place to stay in summer. You can walk the path directly along the Grobbach, it's nice to walk. The Cabin by the Falls is a lovely place to take a break. In winter, nature conjures up particularly beautiful ice sculptures and it's not that crowded. The Bütthof also offers the opportunity to strengthen yourself.
