A beautiful bike ride from Pirna to Schlau and back. It was great. Not strenuous at all.

On the Elbe between Pirna and Dresden there is a lot for the eye, great cycle paths and a variety of places to stop for refreshments.

The bike path is great to ride 🚴😄.

The water police station is located directly in front of the old Pirna Elbe bridge. The real building and property are anything but worth seeing (the TV show WAPO cheated here), but the views of the bridge and the Elbe as well as the piers are also a nice place to take a break if you don't need any hospitality.

Enjoy inexpensive home cooking in a cozy atmosphere - in the mountain lodge Geisingberg. There is a cozy restaurant on the 824 m high Geisingberg. A sun terrace with 38 seats invites you to linger. Here you will be amazed by the tranquility that surrounds the nature reserve. If you feel like it, you can "climb" the 18 m high Louisenturm. You can expect a fantastic view over the Ore Mountains.
