The Eichtalpark is a public park of approximately 7.5 hectares in the Hamburg district of Wandsbek. It stretches along the Wandse between Kedenburgstraße in the west and Bei der Hopfenkarre in the east. It is bordered to the north by Walddörferstraße and to the south by Ahrensburger Straße.[1]

The GOOD is so close. A nature reserve that is characterized by its migratory, song and wandering birds. Willow marshes and many water zones. Always have binoculars with you. Kingfishers are more likely to be found on the Goseelbe.

Pure nature in the middle of Hamburg.

I just wanted to get from HH HafenCity to Reinbek, a trail that goes through horrible industrial areas in Hamburg and Reinbek via Goggle Maps, and was surprised at how beautiful the Komoot trail was. Mostly green, water and nature reserve, few roads and only one really ugly spot.

The hiking trail is frequented by many pedestrians and free-roaming dogs - at least on weekends and public holidays. Cycling is possible, but you have to be very careful. Conflicts with dog owners not excluded. Still a very nice way.
