Good asphalt, little traffic

On the northern shore of Lütjensee Lake, there is this beautiful free swimming area, accessible via the "Seeredder" street. Here, you can refresh yourself in the lake, enjoy the magnificent view of the lake, or drive in two directions from here and watch the sunset in small coves or from benches by the lake. Originally, the salt pond of the saline was used to store wood, for the wooden rods that were used to conduct the energy generated by water and wind to the pumping stations. After Oldesloe became a spa, in 1824 the saline pond, which was fed by natural salt springs, cleaned, enlarged and integrated into the infrastructure of the spa park. Today it is used as a fishing pond.
